Lake Powell 2009

Lake Powell this year was especially exciting for my girls because their cousins from Ohio were there (Livi and Tori). We had tons of fun swimming, riding tubes, wakeboarding, looking for lizards, shooting potatoes out of Brandon's potato launcher, and just relaxing. Hopefully we'll be able to go again before school starts.

Mother's Day 2009

We decided to make it easy on the moms for Mother's Day this year and pick up KFC. Mom of course had to be an over-achiever and make a bunch of "sides" to go with it. The grand kids love playing at grandma's and the adults get to hang out a have a relaxing time.

My mom is the greatest! Thanks for all you have taught me! You're the best!

Happy Birthday "My-sue sue"

My baby's four years old and I can't believe it. Mylee is such a fun and sweet little girl and her big sister adores her. I hope they will always be best friends! Mylee has a morning ritual that is so funny. She wakes up and wants chocolate milk, blanket, pillow, and wants to watch cartoons. She will make her bed only if someone helps her and cleaning up her toys is impossible. When she's asked to pick up her toys, she is suddenly too tired and falls to the floor. It's quite dramatic! She loves to cook with mom and has a sweet tooth like her mom too! We love you Mylee! Happy Birthday!

PRE-SPRING BREAK TRIP

I DECIDED THAT SINCE I HAVE TO WORK OVER THE "REAL" SPRING BREAK THAT WE'D TAKE AN EARLY SPRING BREAK TRIP TO VEGAS. WE STAYED AT THE EXCALIBUR AND THE KIDS THOUGHT "THE CASTLE" WAS AWESOME! THE SWIMMING AREA WAS WAY FUN TOO! WE MOSTLY WANTED TO ESCAPE THE COLD WEATHER AND GO SWIMMING. MORGAN AND I ROAD THE NEW SPONGEBOB 4D RIDE (WHICH WAS ACTUALLY REALLY FUN)! OF COURSE WE HAD TO WAIST MONEY AT THE ARCADE ON UGLY STUFFED ANIMALS! GRANDMA AND GRANDPA HUFF CAME DOWN FOR THE FIRST COUPLE DAYS WITH US. GRANDPA BLAIN DID MANAGE TO WIN A GIANT BALL AT THE ARCADE THAT HE'S PROUDLY HUNG IN HIS SHOP. THE LAST NIGHT OF THE TRIP WE DROVE IN TO ST. GEORGE AND MET UP WITH CORY'S MOM AND FAMILY AND DID A LITTLE MORE SWIMMING. I BELIEVE THE KIDS HAD A GOOD TIME SINCE THEY KEEP ASKING WHEN WE'RE GOING TO LAS VEGAS AGAIN. HERE'S SOME PICTURES...
